Horizon Equipment was established by Dean and Travis Habrock in November of 1995 primarily as a John Deere agricultural/lawn and garden/skid steer dealership. The Habrock family (Mainly Dean) has served the St. Joseph Ag community since 1974 by sell Ford New Holland products at St. Joseph Tractor. Dean is currently the president of St. Joe Tractor and Travis currently serves as president of Horizon Equipment.
Horizon Equipment added Gravely, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Polaris to its lineup since 2004. With these acquisitions a sister company called Horizon Outdoor was created and John Deere Lawn and Garden parts/sales/service was moved into this new facility in 2004. The building of Horizon Outdoor currently sits on the same lot as Horizon Equipment.
Since 2004 Horizon Equipment has been solely dedicated to selling John Deere Agricultural and John Deere Commercial Worksite products. With the separation of businesses Horizon Equipment can now give its undivided attention to the service of its agricultural customers.
Horizon Equipment is located 1 mile west of I-29 exit 44 on S. 169 Hwy in St. Joseph, MO.
